Worst textbook I have ever read.

This textbook is not only overpriced, but it is terribly written. Instead of using straightforward sentences, they are awkward and complicated. There are many sentences that are so poorly structured that the first FEW times you read them they seem incomplete. There are too many chapters on atmospheric science rather than oceanography. The Learn Smart and Connect online companion for this text is equally awful. The online book freezes up far too frequently and is horrid to highlight.
