Each of the 20 alphabetically arranged entries includes one-to-three captioned photos or reproductions, most of which show the selected weapon in action, along with an "Eyewitness" comment from an actual user or a sidebar, and brief remarks about the weapon's development, history, strengths, and (rare in galleries of military gear aimed at younger audiences) weaknesses.
